BIOGRAPHY

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, at an early age of fifteen I had a strong passion to learn the guitar and sing and so I did.  I wanted to learn artist music such as the Eagles, Beatles, Boston etc., I had a strong love and passion for it and in return sparked a drive to learn. My nephew and I would always get together and jam, playing cover tunes and improvising. We later started playing for parties we would have.  At the time we were never really disciplined enough to learn songs all the way through but we had fun. My older brother would come in while we were jamming and improvise his lyrics on the mic poking fun at our playing and that's how the song "Mushroom Boy's" was written. Most of the time everyone we jammed with played guitar so I found myself learning to play the drums, bass harmonica and keyboards to fill in.  I often would sing as well.  We love to sit around and improvise music based on our moods.  We would play for friends and family at different outings.  The song "Hang out with me" was improvised one night in the early 80's. My Dad nephew, girlfriend and I went out to a pool hall one night while down in Galveston at our bay home.  I  guess you can say we had a few and we decided to go back to the house and express our emotions with my dad improvising the lyrics while we played the blues we happen to have a recorder and recorded the song in its natural state. My mom wasn't too happy about the song and my Dad didn't want to hear it the next morning but we all did.  After putting my wild days behind me I became more focused on learning cover tunes all the way through and singing. I learn up to around 400 cover tunes and then got interested in writing, singing, composing my own music. I setup a studio and recording software.  Most of my songs I have written, I sang, and played the guitar, bass, drums, keyboards/piano vocals, backup vocals and would us the keyboard to play other instruments, such as horns, strings, flute etc.  I've written recorded over 50 songs and collaborated with my nephew, friends on a few.  The song "Yesterday (So long ago)" was writing in the mid 90's  We were down at our bay home sitting around with the guitars talking about the old days and how much fun we had. At the current time we were talking like all the good times have passed and gone not realizing we were creating another memory so the song is about how we take things for granted. We are always looking on the other side or the past not appreciating what we have or the present time. We both played the guitars and I sang. I would always carry a micro recorded every time we would jam to catch the any songs and lyrics.  We have let a few get away. We later recorded the song in our studio.  I last recorded "My Dreams", Whisper of the Wind" and a few single songs around the late 90's to 2002 and put the music to rest to pursue other interest.  I haven't really played much since. I guess you can say I was a bit burned out.  Here it is 2016 and I’m created a virtual world yacht tour video of one of the yachts I designed and built in the virtual world "Second Life" in which I used my music for the video. (See the "Sea Queen Yacht Tour" video) We also have plans to create movies in the virtual world. I wanted to create a website and put my music back online once again. Listening to the music has spark my interested to get back into it and write and record more songs. I have my hands full right now creating 3d model products to sell in Second Life and must stay focused before I open another project. Anyway I hope you enjoy our stuff.
